I want a braille printer for home use - recipes and small things like that. So I am leaning toward the most compact and affordable model plus speech on it; the romeo attache pro. Does anyone have any experiences with it - good bad otherwise? Would you recommend a different model instead?

Any recommendations on where to look for a used printer besides ebay? I am hesitent to buy such an expensive thing via ebay.

have you tried the basic D model...I have one that has been rarely used, however I don't know if it works well b.c I haven't used it since 2004, but i have the software as well...look into it and maybe u might want to try that one...also maybe if u had a notetaker you wouldn't really need the braille printer, b.c u could transfer info from the computer onto your notetaker...that is basically what I have been doing
